Genesis 33
Aug 13, 2017 • Paul Whaley
Jacob has received a new name, Israel, which marks a turn for Jacob’s life. We are reminded in today’s story in Genesis that reconciliation brings peace with God and others, but not perfection. Jacob returns home to meet his brother and is shocked when he embraced and forgiven. We are also shocked to find out Jacob still stumbles even after He has seen the face of God.
